Our Services

The most effective and safe way to protect your children from contagious diseases is by vaccination.

By 2 years of age, your baby should receive vaccines to protect them from the following diseases:
Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Polio, Measles, severe form of Childhood Tuberculosis and Hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenza type b (Hib) and Diarrhoea.

At Fernandez Hospital, we offer vaccination services to your baby, following all safety standards and adherence to the WHO protocols.

Some important things to note regarding vaccination

    • Few children may experience mild reactions from vaccines, such as pain at the injection site or a rash. These are transient and will soon go away.
    • Read the Vaccine Information Sheet(s) given by the doctor to learn about the side effects your baby may experience.
    • Continue breastfeeding. It is normal for some babies to feed less during the 24 hours after getting vaccines.
    • Pay extra attention to your baby for a few days. If you see something that concerns you, consult the doctor without any delay.
